Thanks to our neighbors for reaching out to us about Ramsey County's work on Hodgson Road. This major project required additional stormwater retention area due to the increased non-permeable surface area from the road, new sidewalks, and bike path. They identified our property early on as important to meeting that need. Our New Life congregation has always wanted to maintain our open space for church activities and for our community. Our discussions with the County helped guide them to an underground Storm Trap System beneath a portion of our property. The County's contractors are to restore the surface above the Storm Trap System area to grass. When completed, County engineers tell us the open area will be about the size of two soccer fields, with the level surface somewhat closer in elevation to the area around our building. The project is expected to be complete in late 2024.  We’re grateful for all the ways God enables us to be a blessing to our community.

New Life is located in Shoreview, Minnesota, a suburb of the Minneapolis / St. Paul metro area. We are excited to share with you the blessings of our Christ centered ministry. As an Evangelical (good news) Lutheran Church we want to welcome you to worship, prayer, Bible study, Sunday school and fellowship.

We witness to the world that Jesus Christ is everyone's Savior through his perfect life, sacrificial death, and triumphant resurrection. We desire to share the comforting confidence that everyone can be certain of eternal salvation through God's promise of forgiveness and peace in Jesus Christ.
